RE KS3 Y9 Teachers Guides

Teacher Background

Download YR9 Teachers Guide

Many people feel that there is a conflict between science and religion.

The aim of this unit is to:

  • Explain how the conflict view arose and why it gets so much attention;
  • Show that the conflict view is not the only view.
    There are many scientists who say that science and religion are compatible and complementary, and this perspective will be explored with reference to a number of key areas of the science-religion debate.
