Why do we exist? Why is the Universe here? Is there a Creator God or gods?

Sometimes in life, you come across some BIG questions. These are surely good examples. Some people feel that science is the only way to discover the truth about our Origins. Other people disagree, arguing that we can learn from religion too.

In this unit, we discover why some scientists see the ideas from science and religion as compatible. We also look at the way that the relationships between science and religion are presented in the press – and why the ‘Conflict View’ is the perspective that is most commonly portrayed.
