Letters to Dr Williams

Suppose you were writing to the Archbishop, what would you ask?

Students at St Edward’s School in Windsor held a workshop to think of questions that they’d like to put to Dr Williams.

“Why,” they pondered, “Do Earthquakes happen and rock the world and kill innocent people if there’s a loving God in charge?”;

“What,” they wondered, “What does the Archbishop believe when he reads about Adam and Eve?”

“Why,” they asked each other and scratched their heads, “Why do we have people who believe such different things – why doesn’t God just sort out the arguments and tell us what’s what?”

Once the letters were finished, they packaged them up to be delivered to the Archbishop. On this webpage you can see Year 8 asking their questions and what the Archbishop said in reply.
